The Juneau Skating Club offers multiple opportunities to enjoy learning how to ice skate.

For all ages and skill levels—learn, glide, and grow on the ice

The Learn to Skate USA program offers skaters of all ages the foundation to explore hockey, figure skating, speed skating, or simply enjoy recreational skating. Our figure skating program provides opportunities in singles, dance, and synchronized team skating for those who have completed basic skills or equivalent. For more personalized instruction, we offer private lessons. Skaters receive focused coaching tailored to their needs, with flexible scheduling options.

  • Learn to Skate USA

    Group classes are the core of the Juneau Skating Club Learn to Skate USA Program. Along with group classes all students are encouraged to participate in our annual Compete USA Competition and Spring Show.

  • Figure Skating

    The program offers classes, club ice, competitions, USFS testing, shows, and performance opportunities. Skaters can join after completing Learn to Skate class and becoming a club member.

  • Synchronized Skating

    Bringing skaters together as one, each routine blends artistry and precision, where teams create stunning formations on the ice—celebrating friendship, skill, and the thrill of skating in sync.

  • Meet the coaches

    The Juneau Skating Club is very proud of our devoted coaching staff. All of our coaches teach Learn to Skate (LTS) group classes and are registered with USFSA or Learn to Skate USA, having passed a SafeSport check.
