LTS Coach, USFSA Coach

In her 24 years of skating, Alex started her career as part of the Fairbanks Figure Skating Club. Alex would summer in Lake Arrowhead, CA to train under the coaching team at Ice Castle International Training Center including World Team Member and Champion, Jennie Walsh, and International FS Choreographer, Phillip Mills. She has participated in numerous clinics and training with Olympic/National champions and coaches across the West Coast including Sun Valley, ID, Las Vegas, NV, Lake Tahoe, CA, Phoenix, AZ.

Alex started her focus on ice dancing at age 11, initially training with 4-time U. S. Championship Medalist, Glenn Patterson. She has continued her training with International Dance Medalist Peter Sasmore and most recently U. S. Nationals Medalist Todd Gilles. In 2014, she completed USFSA Gold Medalist achievements in Moves in the Field and Ice Dance.

Alex’s experience also includes 10 years as a competitive and social ballroom dancer. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Business from University of Alaska Southeast in 2011. Since 2013, she has held a certificate as an ACE Personal Trainer.

Alex has been coaching for 11 years and coached at USFS Sectional and National Competitions. Alex is a member of the Professional Skating Association and is a USFSA Cert. A and an ISI Certified coach. She is certified coach through USA Hockey and has completed the USA Hockey Level One Certification. Alex specializes in Ice Dance, Moves in the Field, Choreography, Hockey, and Freestyle.

As a coach, teaches from the belief that anyone can accomplish their dreams, on and off the ice, at any age!
