The 2017 Juneau Skating Club’s Spring Show was titled “Nursery Rhymes to Fairy Tales”. Nearly 50 skaters participated in this year’s show, directed by Debbie Tseu with Assistant directors Laurie Balstad and Katie McKenna. The show featured a return of guest artist Keegan Messing. The Spring Show is a celebration of the achievements of all of our skaters. This year we were especially thrilled to honor Laurie Balstad, a high school senior, who will be attending St. Olaf College in the fall. This year marked Laurie’s 10th Spring Show! She has achieved so much through skating, not only personally as an athlete, but as role model, coach, and choreographer.
